About us

The Institute for Inclusive Education is unique worldwide. People with disabilities, who have previously worked in a factory (workshop) for people with disabilities, have successfully passed a comprehensive qualification as educational specialists. As the the Institute for Inclusive Education is an independent institution affiliated to the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel, they work as educational specialists in an academic environment. This is a novelty in the worldwide landscape of higher education.
